Six of the nine teams ahead of you kept zero running backs, so Gibbs, Bijan, McCaffrey, Taylor and Achane are gone. CeeDee Lamb or Justin Jefferson. Only take a top-9 RB if one improbably slips.
Henry, Saquon, Jeanty or Kenneth Walker. Skattebo is a committee back this year, not a workhorse — you cannot start this season with him as your RB1.
He is live slot 59 and you are on the clock at 58. Four real picks separate your 5.58 from your 6.63 — if two tight ends go in that gap, take him at 5.58 instead.
No reach needed. Then Tyler Shough at 12.135 is your quarterback — live 125 against your live 124.
The shift runs +7 to +10 against you there: fifteen of the 24 keepers cost round 9 or later, so the player pool thins out well before the picks do. This is also the exact stretch that has cost you every draft of your career. Work the board, do not freelance. It pays back in rounds 13–16.

Skattebo (R9) and Michael Wilson (R17) are already yours. Two keepers plus sixteen live picks fills all eighteen roster spots exactly — there is no room for a wasted flier.
Skattebo — RB2, not RB1. The Giants list him and Tyrone Tracy as co-starters. He started the preseason opener but came off on the third snap in a three-back committee, and SI named him their bust of the year. The counterweight: Harbaugh is a run-game fanatic, asked Skattebo if he would take 20+ carries a game, and he was RB8 in points per game over weeks 2–7 last year. At a ninth-round cost the keeper is still clearly right.
Michael Wilson — flex, not WR2. His 2025 breakout was almost entirely with Marvin Harrison Jr. hurt: 25.9 PPR and 13.6 targets a game without him, 7.6 and 4.8 with him. MHJ is healthy. Arizona drafted Jeremiyah Love to run the ball and the quarterback is Brissett plus rookie Carson Beck. Still ~113 picks of surplus at a 17th-round cost.
Tight end is gutted. Loveland, Tyler Warren, Kraft and Pitts are all kept, so eight teams are chasing one thin shelf. McBride is live 26 and Bowers is live 32 — your third-round pick puts live 34 on the clock, so both are gone before you can have them. Reaching into round 2 for one is precisely the mistake that cost you 2025, when you took three tight ends inside eleven rounds and carried no real RB2. Fannin at 6.63, Goedert at 10.111. Done.
Quarterback stays cheap, but less cheap than last year. Only Stafford, Caleb Williams and Dart were kept, so nine teams need a starter. Six-point passing touchdowns make the top tier genuinely worth more here than any national ranking implies — but the QB2-to-QB12 gap is smaller than the gap between many backs and receivers. Jayden Daniels (live 60) and Jalen Hurts (live 63) are reachable at 6.63, but that is Fannin's pick. Baker Mayfield is live 111 and will be gone before your 11.130, so do not wait on him. Tyler Shough at 12.135 is the answer.
Confirmed from the published draft order. Five players the August book had wrong are back in the pool: Tetairoa McMillan, Zay Flowers, RJ Harvey, Harold Fannin and Tank Dell (on IR — ignore him).

The turn is the whole game. Only two managers pick between your 1.10 and your 2.15, twice each. Tom has Hampton and Pitts and is receiver-desperate — he takes two WRs. Brian has Stafford and Watson and needs a back and a tight end. So receivers deplete in that window and backs mostly do not. That is exactly why the order is receiver first, running back second.

Favourable draw: the three you play twice — Boyd, Matt, Erik — have never won the league. Brian, Georgie and Mitch, who own six titles between them, you play once each. Playoffs are weeks 15–17, top six, reseeded.
Week 11 is the trap — six teams off (ATL, CLE, GB, LAR, NE, SEA). Cap yourself at two starters from that group across the entire draft.
Skattebo is off week 8 (NYG). Michael Wilson is off week 14 (ARI). Week 14 is the last regular-season week and only Dallas and Arizona are out — do not stack Dallas, and do not add a second Cardinal starter. Your playoff weeks are completely bye-free.
